I knew that Roger Federer didn't play in any of the run-up tournaments to the Australian Open but I was reminded of that when one of the commentators mentioned it. Roger's first round matches were his warm-up tournament. lol. But the cool thing is Roger has yet to drop a set in this Australian Open. He is playing gorgeous tennis.
In this current fourth round match Roger has two sets. They are in the third set right now.
If Roger wins it'll be his 35th straight quarter-final. 35! That's almost nine years of straight quarter-finals. That is unprecedented. This is one reason why Roger is awesome. He makes history with out meaning to. He's just playing a sport that he loves.
